I have been around and cared for animals since I was a child. When there were stray kittens in the neighborhood, I would always take them home and convince my mom to let me keep it. I was the one that took our dogs for long walks no matter the weather. I have had Shih Tzu dogs for the past 13 years, and last year I adopted a Border Collie puppy. So your fur baby will have walking buddies. As one of my dogs reached the age of 10 she started having health issues. She went blind and developed diabetes, so I know how difficult and rewarding it is to care for special needs animals.
