I am a lifelong animal lover and pet owner (I have owned 7 dogs throughout my life), who is dedicated to the comfort and happiness of the four-legged world. I have been pet-sitting for family, friends, and neighbors since the age of 13, and since then cared for a wide range of breeds, ages (puppy to senior), and special needs (administering various forms of medication and physical assistance). I am told I have a special way with animals, often befriending the shy and reserved as well as the outgoing. My priority has and always will be the well-being and comfort of every animal I encounter, and yours is no exception.

Sara did a great job with Finn. She didn't push him, she let him get to know her first! Finn was not stressed!!!! I will have Sara come again!
Sara looked after my two kittens for two weeks while I was traveling abroad. It was the first time I had been away from them, but I ended up not worry at all with Sara there. She kept me updated on how they were doing, sent photos, and looked after them like they were her own pets. The kittens adored her, and were happy and healthy when I returned home. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a responsible, caring pet sitter!
Sara is hands down our favorite pet sitter! When Sara was watching our animals, we had an elderly cat who needed special attention and medication. She handled his care needs with compassion and we trusted her completely to be aware of any changes in him we would need to know about. We also had an energetic terrier mix who needed walking and got bored easily. Sara managed both of our animals with a wide range of needs. No matter who the furry members of your family are, I have no doubt that Sara will take excellent care of them.
I struggle to think of anyone I’d rather have to care for my pets. Sara is all that you’d expect from a Rover caregiver: responsible, punctual, honest, and trustworthy. But wait. Because there’s more. I truly think Sara likes animals better than most people, is deeply intuitive about how an animal is feeling, and has that gift for getting shy/cranky animals to feel comfortable. The only downside I can think of, is that your pets may end up enjoying your travels more than you do!

Availability
I am a college professor whose flexible schedule will allow me to pamper your furry companions multiple times throughout the day and with increased availability during the summer months. I am available to visit your pets from 6-10am and 4-10pm during the weekdays and any time on the weekends and during the summer months.
