Sara is the best!

Unfortunately, we cannot say we had a great overall experience. Sara was very sweet during our meet & greet and we felt certain her professionalism would make her an excellent candidate for our needs. We sat down together and thoroughly went over our expectations and sitting instructions to include twice a day walks and feeds, and even had them printed out for easy reference. We expressed the extreme importance of walks for our older dog especially in relation to constipation. During her stay, she did not ambulate our dogs in the evening and expected, and then proceeded to leave the house at 7:30p for the entirety of the night, only to return at 4:30am according to our Ring cameras. While this initially was not the worst thing imaginable, she then did not take our dogs out at all when she returned nor did she take them for their walk in the morning. To make matters worse, our back yard camera indicated that she did not even open the dog door and continued to sleep until the later afternoon. By our calculations, both our dogs were inside for over 17 hours without being taken outside to relieve themselves. To our great frustrations, we were unable to get in contact with Sara during this time. We sent numerous texts, called a few times, and even contacted Rover. When she did return our calls, she issued a very basic apology, stating “personal issues” as the basis of her neglect. Unfortunately, we cannot in good consciousnesses, recommend her services. We hope this was a one-time episode and that she will do a wonderful job for others in the future.
