Pet care experience
Greetings! I love working with animals. I previously worked at the University of Pennsylvania in cancer research and advance lung disease for years, but made the change to working with animals and teaching yoga for the last few years. I love to spend as much time as possible with a variety of animals. I have had pet companions all my life (dogs, cats, green cheek conure, Flemish giant rabbit, rats, and other small animals). I have experience working with animals that take medication, sick animals, and those with special needs. I have a rescued and retired greyhound that gets along with all animals (she's very docile and loving). I volunteer with a greyhound rescue group and occasionally foster greyhounds.

Sara was SO nice and welcoming. She was available with pretty short notice and took great photos of HollyDog. I will absolutely be booking with Sara again.
Sara is very knowledgeable and showed great care for my dog! Even with two other dogs in her care, I felt my dog got the best treatment and attention. Sara sent me daily pictures ans my dog looked happy and relaxed. It was my first Rover experience and a great one!
Sara is awesome! She is very flexible, responsive and easy to communicate with. Our pup gets very excited when he realizes that he is going to her place to stay!
When I met Sara It was very nice to know, that she had two dogs of her own. It was also very nice to know that she had a lot of experiences fostering dogs, along with doing dog boarding. I was comfortable right away with Sara being a dog walker for my dog. She really has a great sense of dealing with different dogs and there personalities.

Additionally, if you are looking for just walks and I am not available, I can recommend an independent walker that very often takes appointments for me when I'm not available. He is incredibly good with all dogs and is willing to meet you prior to walks.

Availability
I have a small home in South Philadelphia, not far from Passyunk Ave. My dog goes out for walks a couple times a day and use the small South Philadelphia backyard to use the bathroom at other times. My dog sleeps in the bedroom with me, periodically get treats, gets to lounge on the couch or on one of her many, many beds, and is treated like family. I have loads and loads of stuffed toys for your dog to play with, some Kong toys to chew (are always sanitized before and after use), treats that can be given should you agree to the treats, and lots of love to give your special animal(s). If you choose to have your dog stay with me, s/he will be allowed the same great treatment as mine own (if ok with you)!
