I’m a retired educator who has had pets all my life, including three large dogs. I’ve been pet-sitting on-and-off most of my life. Our two dogs died in the spring of 2022 and I started taking care of friends’ dogs. I found this to be the perfect way to keep dogs in my life while maintaining the flexibility to travel worry-free. So, I created Waggie’s Place, LLC in order to take care of other people’s dogs. I adore dogs and love walking them, taking them to dog parks, and spending time with them. I live near the lake and can take dogs swimming (water quality-dependent) if you approve of that. I will genuinely treat your dog as my own. I’ve had a lot of experience with elderly and special needs dogs. I love giant breeds and large dogs in particular, but really I love all dogs.
