Hi there! I’d be honored to dog walk or dog/cat sit for any pup/kitty who needs it (definitely including pit bulls and the like). I will give them my undivided attention and love, and can run around/play fetch with your pups/kitty all day! Or just snooze under the covers together if that’s their preferred mood. (For boarding: I do not have any pets in my apartment and I live right near Central Park and Riverside Park!) I just moved back to the city (where I grew up). My adoration and respect for all animals and extensive experience with them can be seen throughout my whole life: 1. Worked at a farm sanctuary for over a year; feeding, watering, medicating, nurturing, and conducting health checks for animals such as pigs, goats, cows, horses, chickens, ducks, etc. (including 6 hr/day care for a blind and deaf baby goat). 2. Dog sat for friends when I was a kid living in NYC and in upstate New York after college- including sitting for my friend’s four crazy (but super fun, adorable) dogs for a week! 3. Grew up with rescue black cats! Had my cat, Papagena, for 16 years. 4. Volunteered at animal shelters in NYC, horse stables in upstate NY, and even at a panda sanctuary in China for a weekend! 5. Majored in Environmental Science in college, with a concentration in Conservation Biology. 6. Have been vegetarian my whole life (my parents were vegetarian and raised me as such)! 7.
