Pet care experience
Hi Everyone! I am a middle school math teacher that absolutely adores dogs and cats (horses too)! I have been taking care of my family, friends and neighbors' pets since I was a kid. I have experience with both large and small dogs, senior dogs and dogs with disabilities. I have experience working with dogs that require medications and need that extra care throughout the day. As a pet owner, I understand how much you love your pets and how they are truly family. I want nothing but the best for my pets, so I will provide only the best for your pets. As a teacher I understand the importance of hard work and dedication, punctuality, and always going above and beyond. I promise to give your pets all the love and attention they deserve. While I am with your pet, I will treat your pet as family! I love animals and I am looking forward to loving your pets as well! *I also love cats and have experience providing care for senior cats and kittens and taking care of their medical needs as well.

Sara was super easy and flexible to work with regarding drop off and pick up. She sent pictures every day and took my dog yo play at the dog park every day. She also took him on walks and let him lounge on cushy beds and furniture (she asked sh ad of time if that was okay). Overall it was a very positive experience.
Excellent place for our dog Bry. Sara was wonderful and kept him active and comfortable. We will absolutely use her again. And the pics she sent throughout the week were great

I have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. I live near a field that is great to play catch and next to the river that is perfect for strolls during the day. I am able to crate your dog as needed and provide any additional support for your fur-baby. Your pet, young or old, will have the space to play, relax, and enjoy their days.

Please let me know if you prefer your dog to NOT be allowed on furniture so that I can make sure your pup doesn't come home with any new habits.
A typical day
I love to have fun-filled days with my dogs. We always go on walks, typically a stroll in the morning and evening (when it's not too hot). If your dog like to play fetch, we go to a park in the neighborhood to play toss and run around. It is not a dog park, just a large dog-friendly field. If you fur-baby like swimming we go to Skidaway and other dog-friendly swimming locations. We also like to go on walks at Whitemarsh and other dog-friendly locations to mix-it for a little adventure. If you have a more senior dog, my backyard is large and fenced in. We have a garden and nice shady places to lay in and explore. We always have plenty of belly rubs and snuggle time throughout the day, as well as some rest and relaxation. Before bed we always read a relaxing dog-themed book before getting tucked in for the night.

Availability
As a teacher my summer availability is high and very flexible. I am able to provide drop-ins, pet-sitting, house-sitting, dog walks and day-care. I am home throughout the day so your pet is always taken care of and I am able to come to your home throughout the day to check on your pets and provide walks, potty breaks, and anything else they might need. During night drop-in visits and overnight boarding, your fur babies will enjoy a relaxing dog themed book before being tucked in for bedtime. During the school year, I am able to provide evening walks, early morning and evening drop-ins, house-sitting, and home boarding. I happily provide additional details and work one-on-one with parents to accommodate work schedules and their personal pet services and needs.
