Pet care experience
I am an avid dog lover. I have had my own family dog that we recently had to put down for 13 years, and this past year my boyfriend and I found our own fur baby! She is a wild bundle of joy that we can’t even imagine being without now. Over time I have house sat and watched dogs for neighbors, friends and family. Making sure everyone’s fur baby is loved, taken care of and played with. I also while in college raised a Guiding Eye for the blind puppy that has become a service dog helping with a sweet woman with daily activities for the past 7 years!

Sara is great with my dog, Dudley! He walks with Sara around Troy twice a week and I can do my work knowing he is in good hands. He is always tuckered out when he gets home.

I have known Sara for just about 7 years. She is the most responsible and kind hearted person I know and a dog lover since forever. She raised and trained a certified Guiding Eyes dog during college and takes care of her own family pup at home now. Personally, I just got my pup, Josie, a two year old very shy pitbull who had a rough past in a shelter. Josie recognizes Sara immediately and I feel so comfortable asking Sara to take Josie on walks or playing with her in the yard if I am ever at work for too long. She is aware of situations around her that may set a dog off and very reliable on taking them on long walks and giving them endless kisses. I currently live in an apartment complex. We keep a crate for our dog and a fenced in pen area. Our property has a fence around the sides but not enclosed so always leashed whenever going outside.

A typical day
I enjoy taking my dog and others on long walks! Whether it be around my neighborhood or adventuring to new destinations around Albany! And some good play time is always needed whether throwing the ball or playing tug!

I work full time designing and selling furniture. I get two days off a week and time before I go into work certain days and after work to help take care of your furry friends.
