My fiance and I both work from home on opposite schedules- I work evenings and he works standard business hours. This allows us to provide care around the clock. We have 1 dog, 2 cats and 5 chickens, so pet care is something that takes up a large part of our time and that we are very familiar with.

Our house is best suited for older dogs that do well around other animals and want a calm, relaxing area to hang out while their parents are gone. While we love the younger, high-energy dogs as well, our house tends not to be the best fit for them. We do require proof of rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella vaccinations upon booking. Thank you for understanding the need to keep our home safe for the pups that enter it.
A typical day
Our days always start with snuggles in bed and then everyone heads out into the big backyard for a morning frolic. Everyone loves to sniff around the wooded, fenced yard. Sometimes if we're lucky we'll catch a glimpse of a deer or turkey wandering off (they are always too quick for the pups to get, but are sure a lot of fun to chase!). In between going outside, there are lots of toys and cozy spots for playing and snoozing. We also do puzzle toys and other mentally stimulating activities occasionally.

Does your dog need a place to hang out while you are gone for the day or week? I have been pet sitting, fostering, and caring for my own animals for well over 10 years and can provide references upon request. I have experience with senior and medically frail dogs, including giving medications and customizing care.
