Pet care experience
I am currently employed at an animal hospital here in LA as a Veterinarian Assistant and am also starting my studies as a Pre-Veterinary Medicine major so saying I'm an animal person is an understatement! I set myself apart from other care takers on Rover as I not only know how to professionally handle animals using a fear free approach, but I am also qualified to administer injections through IV, SC, IM, and PO. I can also provide your pets grooming needs consisting of safe nail trims, anal gland expressions, ear cleanings, and teeth brushing!

Sara is the sweetest! She was so calm and confident with our high anxiety German shepherd. And both of our dogs absolutely LOVED her. She was very communicative. Will definitely book her in the future.
There aren’t enough words to describe how incredible Sara is! She walks my dogs Gunter and October and they are obsessed with her. She is so patient with Gunter who can be a bit dog reactive. Could not recommend her enough. I feel so comfortable and safe leaving my fur children under her care.
My two dogs just adore Sara. I swear they get more excited to see her than they do me and it’s not just because she’s walking them. Not only is she one of the kindest and most vibrant people I have ever met, but she has tons of experience with animals of all kinds and it really shows in her work. With her veterinary experience there is no one I would rather trust my fur babies with. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for someone to spend time with your floofy friends.
I cannot stress enough how much Sara has helped out my dog, Stevie and cat, Edwin. She goes to the ends of the earth for my pets and it doesn’t go unnoticed! My pets love her more than any sitter I’ve used in the past and will continue using Sara as my pets primary care taker for as long as I can! The biggest plus is knowing that she works at an animal hospital and is working on becoming a Veterinarian, it definitely gives me a huge sense of security when knowing I’m placing my pets in reliable hands.

I am a momma to 3 German Shepherds and 2 Sphynx cats so high maintenance pet care is no issue for me! I devote time to my pets to ensure loads of attention and proper care is put into them. I treat all pets as if they were my own in that the care I take of them would be nothing less than it is for my kiddos at home!
Information Sara C. would like to know about your pet
First and foremost, it is most important I know whether your dog has an illness as well as any medications and/ or supplements they receive. I would also like to know how your dog is on a leash and if your pet is reactive to animals of any sort. Other important things include if your pet is an escape artist (ex: gate jumper, leash chewer). All of these are important to allow me to properly prepare for your fur-baby!
A typical day
I love walking my dogs down to Riverside and playing with them at either the Buena Vista Park or Johnny Carson. I love encouraging brain stimuli whether it be playing simple games of fetch or even trying to learn new commands! I am such a pushover when it comes to these babies that occasional trips to Petco happen every so often to spoil the little guys! Most of all, I prioritize the pets under my care’s happiness and comfortability, I just find so much joy in watching the pets I sit enjoy every moment with me!

Availability
Pet care is practically second nature to me as I am constantly surrounded by pets in the work field and home life! On the days I am not working at the clinic or doing school, I am able to schedule in times to walk, feed, play, or even dog/cat sit. Although my availability shows only Fridays and Sundays, please feel free to reach out regarding other dates and I will do my best to work with you!
