Pet care experience
My name is Sara and I live here in Orange with my husband, Brendan. I am a youth services librarian here in Connecticut and Brendan works in the brewing industry. We are animal lovers at heart and will treat any pet as our own! We are saving for our house, so taking care of your animals is the perfect opportunity for both you and us! We are very familiar with caring for multiple pets, are active, and love walking/hiking! We are willing to work within 30 minutes from our home together or seperate. Last, while our jobs take up a normal work week, we are willing to work nights and weekends. An additional fun fact: we have a cat of our own who is enjoying her retirement years! Sara and Brendan stayed in our home for over a week taking care of our German shepherd. They were real life-savers because we contacted them barely a week before the trip. They did a great job - we came back to a clean house and a happy pup. Our dog experienced some serious separation anxiety in the beginning and Sara and Brendan handled it beautifully. They communicated with us and sent pictures. They will definitely be our go-to couple for dog and house sitting if they agree to stay with our anxious dog again!
Sara and Brendan were incredibly quick to respond to my request! They were very communicative and easy to work with. They sent great photos of my kitten and spent time with her while I was away. I would highly recommend them!

Sara is a very compassionate and cares for animals of all kinds! The first time she met my dog, she acted as if she knew my dog her whole life and it was an instant bond! She’s amazing with animals!

We love to treat each pet according to their special needs, but generally enjoy outside activities (walking, hiking) games (fetch, frisbee), and relaxing/getting to know eachother.

Availability
We both work full time, however Brendan has remote flexibility and Sara has Friday and Wednesday flexibility. Our nights and weekends are generally free as well.
