Pet care experience
Hello all!! Let me take a minute to fill you in on myself, my household, and all the love I have for dogs and cats alike! Right off the bat, I do want to be clear about who you will be primarily working with and who will primarily be taking care of your pet. Sara and Ben are both listed since we are married, but Sara is the primary caregiver. So all information is primarily about Sara's skills and experience along with Ben's and as a couple. Ben is very active during boarding situations but all other services are done by Sara, with Ben popping in on occasion. With that said here we go... I have years of fostering experience with rehabbing, training, and loving dogs of all situations, behaviors, and backgrounds. I have had personal animals of my own for almost 20 years now and loved every second of it! I started an animal rescue here in Erie several years ago, so my love and care of animals is very real! I was also a Vet Tech for several years! Owners deserve to feel their home and animals are safe when they are away. I want all owners to not feel a shred of worry or anxiousness, I know it can be hard to be away from them. I want you to enjoy yourself, thats what is most important! I take it very seriously to send updates and pictures as much as the owner would like! I know it can help the worry of being away to see how much fun their animals are having and all the love they are receiving--so I will be diligent about those!! Sara was absolutely amazing with our dog and cat while we were out of town. We could not ask for more! When our pup was sick to his tummy she volunteered to make chicken and rice but checked in with us before she changed anything. She sent photos and messages multimedia a day and was very pleasant to communicate with. I would highly recommend Sara if you’re looking for a pet sitter!
Are you looking for the absolute best, caring, and passionate pet sitter? Sara & Ben are amazing! I am very particular when it comes to my three Cavalier King Charles girls. Sara has gone above and beyond whenever she watches them making sure they are happy, healthy and safe. She sends me updates throughout the day with pictures etc. Not only do I use Sara for extended stays however, with my job and family in a nearby city, I have used her numerous times for a "let out" during the day. She always shows up exactly when she is needed and takes the time to make sure the girls are happy and safe. I highly recommend her to anyone that wants to feel like their pets will get excellent care while away!
Sara was absolutely amazing with our three very special fur babies. We haven't been able to leave for a vacation in 5 years because we were nervous about boarding our dogs at a kennel. One of our dogs is very old (blind and deaf) and I just couldn't bring myself to leave him in a kennel in that condition. My other dog is very anxious and fearful of strangers. He was a stray we took in, and we just aren't sure what he's endured in the past that's made him leery of people. Finally, my purebred Bluetick Coonhound is very loud, and some boarding facilities have refused to care for her based on that factor alone, so dropping them off somewhere was NOT an option for us, but house sitting on Rover sounded promising. Sara was up for the challenge and was a great fit based on her experience. She said "Don't worry ...I got this!" Sara was determined to take excellent care of my fur babies and to make sure I felt comfortable leaving them. She set up many "meet and greets" before we left for vacation in order to get acclimated to each of them and their routines. As a family we were able to thoroughly enjoy our vacation knowing our pups and home were in good hands. I highly recommend Sara as a house sitter...my dogs had a great time in her care!
Sara was such a blessing to our family by watching our fur babies for a week while we were on vacation. She was great with giving us updates and photos. She went above and beyond and even did things around our house to make our lives easier when we got home. Would 100% recommend her caring for any animal. She truly is the best! Can’t wait to use her again.

We follow the animals routine and needs to the best of our ability. They need routine and structure when their owners are gone and that is not something we take lightly. Our home has a fenced yard, plenty of room in the home to play, and walks in the neighborhood if allowed. At someone's home, I will follow the guidelines for that animal to a tee based on their set up and owners request.

Our goal is to know what your dog needs to feel safe and content when their owner is away and if they are away from their home. Dog friendly? Feeding schedule/allergies (food)? medications needed? Likes and dislikes (nervousness, anxieties)? Aggressions/destructive behavior/separation anxiety? Favorite toys? Crate needed or not? All additional details about your dog, I wanna hear about them!!!
A typical day
Our home is completely dog friendly. On the furniture? Of course! Sleep in bed with us? If they are allowed, absolutely! We have a fenced in yard, a perfect deck with cozy patio furniture for sunbathing, and dog beds galore! We have an amazing neighborhood for walking and if allowed we love to walk the neighborhood. Tons of love and cuddles, playtime with their favorite toys, and plenty of relaxation and treats (if allowed of course)!! Photo shoots will be occuring for the parents on a regular for all the updates

Availability
We work full time 9-5 and have 4 dogs of our own. My schedule is more flexible than Bens. Ben and I are amazing animal owners and their care is number one in our lives and we revolve our lives around theirs. They are not just animals to us, they are our children. Structure and routine is vital and taken seriously.
