Pet care experience
Former Veterinary Technician of 8 years across the DFW area.. By August 2023, I had to step away for health reasons, and have been fortunate enough to start a full-time pet sitting business. Animals are my passion <3 I’ve worked with dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, etc. I’ve been pet sitting since I was a teenager, and have had more personal pets and foster pets than I could count!

Sara was awesome. She took amazing care of our fub baby Bailey while we were on vacation. So thankful for her and we would DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone that wants to be sure their pet is well cared for while away.
Sara is always our go-to pet sitter because she treats all three of our animals with the same compassion and joy as her own. Her background as a vet tech gives us even more confidence in relying on her, and she’s also thoughtful and attentive about any issues with the house!

Sara is fantastic! She took very good care of our little Pepper, and Pepper seemed to like her even more than she likes us! Sara was very easy to work with. She is a great communicator and never failed to update us on how Pepper was doing and what she was up to, and she loved on our Pepper well. We're so thankful for her taking the time to care for and hang out with our little one, and we know Pepper enjoyed every minute she got to spend with Sara!

I have a fenced-in yard, two dogs (a 3 yr old French Bulldog and a senior German Shepherd), two cats, a Ball Python, a Bearded Dragon, a Chaco Golden Knee Tarantula, and one chicken (a partridge in a pear tree?) 😃 We have quite the zoo, and I love it!! I have accommodations for guest pets in a spare back bedroom (this option offered for special medical needs only, I.e a pet recovering from surgery, a pet with lameness or atrophy, strict medication schedule, etc).

If your pet is on any medications, or has special needs like heart conditions, diabetes, anxiety, etc just let me know. I loved working in the veterinary field, and now as your pet sitter, I will do whatever I can to make your pets as happy and comfortable as I can while you are away ♥️
A typical day
I love the excitement a dog has when I walk through the door, ready for a walk, a potty break, possibly a tasty snack! I encourage the use of puzzle bowls and Kong treats to keep their mind stimulated, toys to play with. My kitty clients, though most do not show the same enthusiasm as their canine counterparts, are grateful for a clean litter box, some yummy food and fresh water. If I’m lucky they will allow some head boops and butt scritches :)

I am currently taking a break from working as a veterinary technician, so my schedule can be flexible. I offer drop in visits, dog walking, and in special (medical) cases I could host a pet in my home.
