Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Sara! I absolutely love animals! I work mostly from home and have some flexibility with my schedule while typically working 8-5. Each situation is different so please feel free to reach out and we can see if I’d be right to help care for your animal while you’re away. I have a territorial cat, so typically better for me to house sit rather than bring animals to my house, but it is specific to the individual. I have experience caring for small kittens all the way to an 18 y/o elder cat. I have cared for many dogs varying from 8 -120 lbs. I love to go for walks and hikes and personally, dogs make every activity better. I have 2 dogs (55lb Goldendoodle and 75lb pitty mix) that are sweethearts and love all other animals. My pets are the center of my life and I understand that they may be yours as well. Please let me know if you have any questions and I can't wait to meet your fur babies!

Sara was great! I was a very stressed out owner due to past issues with Rover and Sara helped reassure me that my kitty would be well taken care of and she was! She was very accommodating and took lots of pictures and sent lots of updates! My kitty was very happy and so was I. Very much recommend Sara!
Sara was so patient doing stop-ins and walks with our very energetic puppy. I felt so much better about leaving him home for the day because I was receiving regular pictures and updates from Sara. Highly recommend.
Sara, is kind & gentle to all the four-legged furry friends in her life. She has had numerous pets throughout her life and started taking care of neighbor's pets at an early age. She loves to walk with dogs and would probably walk her cat too, if only felines would cooperate. She is a very responsible and professional young adult and would take good care of any type of pet, except spiders.
Sara is always excellent with my puppies. She is extremely competent and I always feel better when I am away knowing that my dogs are being cared for. Two thumbs up from a long time customer!

I live in a house with a fully fenced backyard. If I’m staying in your home depending on the owners request can have the dog out free or in a crate when I’m working or away. Your pet will be a great distraction from sitting at a computer.

I would like to know anything and everything that’s necessary to make you being away stress free for your pets! (i.e. temperament, special needs/medication, things they do or don't like, where they sleep, potty training, on/off leash behavior, rules for furniture/home alone, reaction to other dogs, critters or people, and level of training).
A typical day
We will visit parks, go for a hike and go for lots of walks. We can cuddle and play as much as your dog desires. If they come to my house then they will also be able to play with my dogs

Availability
I work a regular 8-5 job from home. So I can be flexible where I work. If your dog is staying with me I will be around all of the time and if I am staying at your house and am able to set up a work from home situation then I will be around as well. I will take your dog for a morning, lunch and evening walks, and then as needed potty breaks.
