Hi! My name is Sara. I am a 30 year old active gal with lots of love to give! I care for all kinds of animals but dogs are my favorite! I live in Carbondale. I have a fenced in yard at my home for your pet to roam! I grew up with multiple animals on a hobby farm in Minnesota. I am familiar with animals/dogs all shapes and sizes. In the past I have worked for as a kennel tech and a manager at a boarding facility. I strive to make sure that your pet is well looked after, just as I would want my own! I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! Let me know if you have any questions. During the week I am very flexible. I am currently take a break from working. Weekends we can go and hike or go on walks - anything your pooch wants to do or is comfortable with, I will make it work! I have a fenced in yard at my house. Secure enough that my half husky boy cannot even jump over. Additionally I can crate your pet in a separate room (guest room) or do whatever I can do make them comfortable.

Sara has pet sat for me and my family many times, and she always goes above and beyond to make sure they are loved and cared for. Not only do I admire Sara for the way she has cared for my animals (as well as her own), but her experience with caring for foster dogs as well. Sara is the person to best treat your pet(s) with exceptional care and kindness. Growing up on a hobby farm in Minnesota, Sara cared for dogs, cats, horses, ducklings, and every sort of critter imaginable. Never without a pet by her side, she even moved cross country on her own and immediately started the search for another dog. She has been a volunteer at rescue farms and shelters. She has a true heart for animals and their care. You will not be disappointed....just ask her MN dog, Cooper! (Kindly left with her family there)

I have a fenced in backyard that provides safety and space to roam with my pooch. My dog is crate trained but roams free in the house when home alone - if your dog isn't comfortable with that I have a guest room for personal space or if they want to be crated in there - noise machine, own bed & comfort items provided of course. In your home - I can provide anything you and your pooch are comfortable with. We will make it a happy space!

Availability
My weekly routine includes keeping my dog active - so taking care of your pooch is not out of my routine whatsoever! I do a 20 minute walk in the mornings, 30-45 minute walk in the afternoon and then 20-30 minutes in the evening in weekdays. During the weekend I love to include my dog in biking, hiking, or going to the dog park.
