I grew up with dogs and I have an almost 18 year old doxie mix. I lost my angel (16 and a half) last June and my other dog is lonely, so I am looking to pet sit to keep my little man company! I have been volunteering with animal rescues for over 15 years including an animal hospice, adoption counselor at ASPCA, and most recently Bad Ass Animal Rescue. Tyson (aka Ty, Little Man, Handsome) is great with other dogs. He has many doggie cousins he loves and is extremely patient with them (even as puppies when they had way more energy than him). He loves all dogs and misses his sister / BFF very much.

Banjo absolutely loves hanging with Sara! He dragged us to her place. She treats him like her own pup and we are so grateful to have found her.
Banjo had sooo much fun with Sara for daycare! She took him in so many walks and kept us updated with pictures and videos. He will definitely be back to hang with her again soon!
So nice and sweet with my dog Otis, Sara is a real dog person. My boy got plenty of exercise and I knew he was in good hands. She sent me numerous photos and updates. Added bonus of outdoor deck space in the building where she took Otis since was a nice weather day! Thank you!

I have a medium sized studio with multiple dog beds and endless amount of toys. I have a dog friendly patio that’s completely fenced in. Dog parks are walkable, as is Prospect Park.

Must be gentle with senior dogs. Also I like to know about their personality, what he / she prefers to be comfortable (sleeping in bed, on floor, etc.), anything I can do to make the pup have a great time
A typical day
I have a huge bucket of toys. I also have two dog parks within a 15 minute walk plus Prospect Park. There is a second floor patio that is dog friendly and fully fenced in.

I work from home most days (days in the office I have marked as unavailable so I will be home all day with the pups). I take my dog on multiple walks a day or to the dog park (in his puppy carriage, since he has arthritis).
