Pet care experience
I have had dogs, cats, guinea pigs , and rabbits in my life ever since I was a young girl. Whether they be my own or my family members that I spend time with. That has lead to my extreme love for animals and the company they bring! Animals are deserving of the best care so that they never have to suffer, not even a little bit! That’s why I’m here to help provide that care if you find yourself needing it! I was in Veterinary Science for 2 years leaving me confident in my knowledge about pet care, what to look for in a sick pet, and how to treat them if needed. I can give oral and topical medications, perform physical exams if needed throughout a visit, and follow instructions for any special needs. I have experience with giving injected medicines but I would prefer not to as I am not a professional.

I have hired Sapphire to watch my dog and am very happy with the care she gave my dog. The last time she watched my dog I left her with Sapphire for 12 days. She sent me pictures and updates daily that really helped settle my mind while I was away. I plan to continue to have Sapphire watch my dog for me in the future.
Mae is a reliable and experienced pet sitter. She has cared for my three "spicy boys" on several occasions, as well as several other dogs I have previously owned or fostered. Mae is a knowledgeable graduate of the Greene County Career Center's Veterinary Science program. This gave me the confidence to entrust her with the care of elderly dogs and several with special needs. The three dogs I own currently have very individual needs, as two of the three were rescued from difficult situations. However, Mae takes the time to understand and connect with each one. I highly recommend her for all your pet-sitting needs!

Keeping up with watering, feeding, walks, playtimes, and medication is deterimental for a happy pet and that is my ultimate goal for my own and others. I have skills in observing animals behavior and knowing how to approach each situation carefully. I can listen to instructions very well and follow them strictly to ensure the pet isn’t thrown out of schedule or stressed.

Please let me know if your pet has any behavioral issues or any kind of aggressions, that includes towards humans and other dogs/animals. I can handle and monitor this but I need to know prior so no accidents happen! I want me and your dog to be as safe as possible. If your dog has any important commands I should know please tell me! It would also be a huge help to be told about any medical problems or bathroom habits that would impact a walk, playtime, or a visit. Lastly, if there’s any special needs that your dog has please inform me of those as well so I can keep your pup as comfortable as possible!
A typical day
I love to sunbathe with dogs after a long walk, taking a moment to sit in the sun and relax for a few minutes before heading home. I tend to bring portable water bowls for this moment and many treats just in case ;). I love to chase and play “tag” with the pups, gets a lot of big energy out of them. Tug and introducing toys are other fun ways I love to spoil the dog with fun! My favorite places to walk is a Rock Quarry nearby with loads of open space or a park I regularly visit that has several miles of grassy areas and trails to explore!

Availability
Rover is my only job as of right now and that leaves me with loads of free time to spend on my own animals. Why not spend it helping out other furry friends and their busy owners? I am available all days between the times of 11am-3pm and 3pm-10pm!
