Pet care experience
Hi! I am a veterinary student and am a pet lover of all sorts. I have had pets from the day I was born and have experience with everything from dogs to exotics. So if you have a weird exotic pet (reptiel, rodents, birds, pocket pets etc) I can check up on them as well (I personally have a dog, fish, bird, hedgehog , chickens, guinea pig and rodents) ! I have experience with wildlife and animal medicine. I work with a veterinarian often and am comfortable working with animals that need that extra attention. I am one of those people that animals love and instantly take to. I rescue my animals so i have a lot of experience with disabled, elderly, ill,and anxious pets. You can feel assured with me watching your pets as I will give them the best care possible. I am available weekdays and weekends , morning to evening. I will follow whatever instructions or guidance you leave for me in order to give your pets the best care possible. I believe in treating every animal as if it was my own. And that means always providing the best experience for them. I have studied animal behavior / welfare so am able to tell their stress level and proceed as needed.

I would love to be told the behavior of the dog. If they are agressive or overly friendly. I also would appreciate to know the dogs walking style. Do they run? Pull? Jump on people? . I prefere to work with smaller dogs , especially those of the hypoallergenic breeds. However , I think all dogs are puppies at heart and I love working with all of them, as long as their size and strength will not overpower me. I want to be able to have control so that both you and I feel secure in my ability to restrain and handle the dog.
A typical day
Depending on the type of dog and their background I believe they need different types of interactions. If a dog is very social they may enjoy a dog park or a day outside with some balls and toys to toss around. However , an anxious dog may prefere a more laid back approach with a walk down the street or a trail and more one on one interactions either in the home or backyard to limit the anxious surrounding.
