Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats all my life, and love animals. Since moving to Edinburgh five years ago my 9-5 job means I can’t have a full time dog of my own, but I frequently dog sit for pals and I love it. In my job as a mental health occupational therapist I regularly work with therapy pets too!

My spaniel Arwyn had a great time with Saoirse. She was great with comms before and during the stay, would highly recommend Saoirse!
Lenny loved his stay I think (he needed persuading to leave and cried a bit leaving the building 😭). Would highly recommend!
Saoirse is the perfect sitter. Took Mookie on great walks, bonded with him, and sent me regular pics & updates. Plus she's a lovely person to deal with. I'd be totally happy for her to take care of him again. Fantastic

I don’t have a garden but am based very near both Pilrig Park and Dalmeny dog park so have quick and easy access to outdoor green spaces for walks and playing. I have no other pets/small children in my house so it’s a relaxed space, with a secure buzzer access front door.

A typical day
I live near lots of green spaces so we’ll do a wander around Leith, with plenty of smells (and all the dog friendly cafes) and then can go play in Pilrig or Dalmeny park! I also amn’t far from Dofos pet shop if they’re allowed to have a little treat!

Availability
I work full time but am available for dog walks all evenings after 5.30pm, as well as any time at weekends. I’m available for boarding or dog sitting Friday evening through to Sunday evening.
