I have always loved caring for my family's, friend's and neighbor's animals. The types of animals I have been lucky enough to care for include dogs, cats, rodents and birds. I have a seasonal position with the government that involves hiking on a daily basis, which I think transfers over to my enjoyment of walking dogs and spending time outside. My home is perfect for boarding and doggy day care, I have a two story home with a spacious backyard so there is a lot of room to explore. I have 2 small dogs that are friendly, one is 8 years old and one is 14. Since my home is more spacious, I do have the ability to separate the animals but if the owner is comfortable my 8 year old dog loves to play (the 14 year old tends to sleep most of the time). I can also be flexible with animals on the furniture. I allow my dogs to be on the furniture but if an owner prefers their animals off the furniture I have no problem adhering to their rules. Overall, I take being trusted to care for peoples' animals very seriously because I would expect the same for mine. Additionally, I make timeliness and showing my reliability a top priority.
