Since I was 5 years old, I have been caring for animals. Over my lifetime, I have taken care of 3 wonderful dogs (boxer-lab mix, black lab, and husky), as well as 4 incredibly personable cats: I have loved every minute of it. From the ages of 14-19, I ran a neighborhood dog-walking service in Lexington, Kentucky; from the ages of 16-19, I also offered dog and cat-sitting services for family friends and neighbors. I’ve taken care of senior dogs: my first dog Izzy had arthritis and “doggy dementia”, though she lived happily to the age of 15 as a black lab. And I have endless patience with both dogs and cats: this is a job, but one that brings me immense joy.
