I would love to walk your pet or provide drop in visits while you are away! As a a pet owner for most of my life, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to provide the best care for the pet/s that you love. I have cared for friend's dogs and cats while they work or travel for many years, sometimes for a few days or for more than a month. I love getting to know pets and loving them!

I ask a pet owner what their expectations are for providing the best care for their pet during our "Meet and Greet" visit, before I walk their dog or care for their cats. I will follow your directions and care for your pets as I would my own pet. My husband, also a retired teacher, is a pet lover and often comes with me on walks and drop in visits.

Meet and Greet: Before scheduling your booking, let's agree on a free "Meet and Greet" visit time at your home. I would like to meet your pet and have you show me your pets' routine. I would like my husband Dave to come to the "Meet and Greet" visit also since we do many pet visits together. If possible, please contact me to schedule this "Meet and Greet" visit at least 2 or 3 days before I begin to care for your pet. I prefer to sit cats and small to medium dogs that weigh 40 pounds or less. Please let me know if your pet is microchipped and if he is up to date on annual vaccinations. Please let me know if your dog gets along with other dogs. I appreciate a heads up if your dog enjoys meeting new people or if your dog may be aggressive to people or other dogs. I have administered insulin and topical anti anxiety medicine to a cat.

Availability
I am a retired teacher, and I am frequently available for pet care. I am usually available for pet visits Monday through Saturday. I am also available for a single visits on Sunday early in the afternoon, for example, for a cat owner or a dog owner who is in town and working on Sunday.
