Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and spent a few years as a veterinary assistant. Also worked with horses and dogs for a good part of my adult life. Currently have a rescued 10 year old Bloodhound, Cooper, who enjoys the company of other dogs. As the mother of 3 grown children, and human to apprx 6 dogs in my adult life, you can count on me to be a good surrogate "mom" to your precious pup!

We were very pleased with Luna's stay. Sandy was very professional and communicated promptly any time we reached out. She took Luna on lengthy walks every day which I'm sure she loved. Would definitely recommend Sandy!
Our 4 month old puppy Kaylee was well cared for by Sandy. She was great and we felt very comfortable leaving our young puppy at her home. We had some delay issues with our return and Sandy was very understanding. She went above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely use Sandy for future dog sitting needs.

Not everyone is comfortable with Hoppus, a muscular 60 pound stubborn extremely friendly dog. Sandy radiated calm confidence during our meet & greet. At drop off, Hoppus ignored me and went to Sandy without looking back at me so I was able to enjoy our week-away without worries. She kept me informed with texts and photos. But, I was amazed to hear they went on a 3 mile walk! Yes, we will absolutely do this again!

I have a sturdy fenced in back yard. I have 1 crate here for guest use, or you can bring your own. Please supply your pups' food (along with feeding instructions), leash/collar/harness/poop bags.

A typical day
Walks around my neighborhood (dog park available). I have a small plastic kiddie pool that I fill for those "dog" days of summer when it's really hot!

I work from home. I walk daily. Usually do dog walks in the early morning if hot out, or lunch time when it's a cooler season. Of course the dogs go out as needed in the fenced in back yard.
