I've known Sandy for 16 years, we've been roommates, as well as best friends. So I can definitely say that she is a genuine animal lover through and through. She's helped her family to rescue over 15 dogs, at one point there were about 10 rescue pups living together with them. It was amazing! And the best thing about Sandy is she will give each dog whatever it is they need to rehabilitate and to feel safe again. Sandy has pet sat for my dog and 2 cats many times whenever I've needed her to. She sends me photos to ease my anxious pet parent mind. One time she even made me a "summer camp yearbook" filled with photos and captions of my dog when I had to be out of town for a week during the summer. Sandy is the kind of pet sitter who will spend time in your home with your pets too, because one of her favorite activities is to take naps with dogs while watching movies (and waking up mid-nap to munch on some snacks before dozing off again- talking about Sandy, not the dog). One of the best things that I love about Sandy (besides being hilarious) is that she is empathetic with all animals and she is very attentive, so if your dog is not eating because he/she is missing you, or if your dog has an upset stomach, she will notice immediately and take steps to soothe your pet and get him/her back on track again. Sandy also loves to take dogs on walks to the park or on hikes! She is very responsible and won't let your dog meet other dogs unless you tell her it is okay to. My dog is not always friendly with other dogs and she knows that, so she is great with keeping distance from other dogs because that is what I ask her to do. I hope you hire Sandy Chansamone as your pet sitter, she's one of the best and you'll definitely be asking her to be your regular pet sitter!
