As a child my family always had dogs, and dogs have been in my life ever since . I have owned between two to four dogs at any time. I have nursed sick abandoned puppies and have lovingly cared for senior dogs. Since my children are grown and I live by myself my dogs are a very important part of my senior life. They certainly have filled my life with joy and love. As a senior I realize how important my health is. Walking and or interacting with my dogs everyday keeps us all trim and fit. I would definitely include your dog in our activities, taking into account the needs and abilities of your pet as far as excerise is concerned. I have a large yard and we all love being outside whenever possible.I love all animals big or small, domesticated or wild. I am an avid bird feeder and watcher and love to work in my yard.
