Pet care experience
I grew up around many different kinds of pets including farm animals and always had a dog since then. I currently have 1 fur baby named Dibs (he's really a senior dog but still my baby). I rescued him when he was 5 years old. Unfortunately he had a back injury and his original owner didn't have the time or money to care for him. So I took over and cared for him while he was recovering. I gave him physical therapy that was recommended by the vet and then gave him all his medications prescribed to him. He eventually was able to walk again, however he still has damage from the injury so he doesn't walk correctly and sometimes it takes him a bit to get up and going. I truly believe that due to my experience with Dibs and helping him recover, has led me to pet sit family and friends dogs. They saw how loving and caring I was to him so they occasionally asked me to pet sit either at their house or mine. The photos I have here are regular clients of mine that I have been watching for over 2 years before joining Rover.

I could not recommend Sandy enough! She is far and away the best dog sitter I've worked with. Sandy has taken care of my very needy chihuahua-dachshund mix many times over the last few years. She has also taken care of my mom's multiple chihuahua mixes. I know whenever I leave our dogs with Sandy, they are in the best hands. She sends pictures and updates when we're out of town for an extended period, and she makes sure to tend to any particular needs that our dogs have (ie frequent potty trips outside due to stomach issues, spending extended cuddle time with needy lap dogs). She is such a caring and committed pet caregiver, and I highly recommend her to watch your pets!!
I had the best experience with Sandy as our dog sitter! She took the time to get to know my dog, was knowledgeable about how to properly care for him while being caring and attentive to his needs. I appreciated her communication; just a text or call away if I wanted to check in. She sent me pictures and updates throughout the stay- I could tell he was in good hands. I am now an official repeat customer and I highly recommend this Sandy to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

I have a set schedule with my dog and have lots of space. I would normally use the same routine I have at home which I have listed on the Schedule Section. If the client has special requirements for their doggy or has set medications and or supplements at certain times, I will go by their instructions. I will also send photos and any updates through out the stay.

Please let me know if you're dog has a certain behavior I need to be aware of. I do have a grandchild that lives here so the dog must be kid friendly. If you're doggy requires medication please provide directions and times for all meds.
A typical day
I have a spacious backyard and I take the dogs out for breaks and play time often. I have balls and toys to throw around for the dogs. Dogs will remain inside my home and they can sleep in my bed if they don't like the pet bed. Feedings are done in the kitchen and I have bowls for the dogs.

Availability
I will have a set schedule for your doggy. Morning feeding and then play time. I will let your doggy out every 2-3 hours for a potty break. Evening feeding then some more playtime before bed. I will give all medications and or supplements as directed by owner. I work from home most of the week and if I ever have to leave to run an errand there is always someone home. My son and mom have been helping out with the dogs in case I ever have to run out to do something. I have a fenced yard and will make sure your doggy gets plenty of time outside for breaks and play time. I have two doggie beds and blankets for rest and bed time. I usually do feeding time in my kitchen in the morning and evening. If your dog requires medication I will give it to them during feeding time and at the times you have requested.
