Pet care experience

My pets are my family. When your pup comes into my care, I will extend the same patience, love, and affection to them as I do with my own animals. Your pet will be respected and needs tended to! Additionally, I am trained in Pet CPR and First Aid- I got my certification in the states years back, so it is no longer valid, but I do have the knowledge and tools to respond to emergencies.

Sandra did a great job taking care of Darien our dog and Rowan our foster standard poodle. We appreciated Sandra doing a meet and greet and spending time with us and the dogs to get to know each other. Sandra is calm and was good at quickly picking up on each dog's personality. She is reliable and knowledgeable. We (and the dogs) look forward to using her services again soon.

Sandra is perfect! Harley was so comfortable and happy with her. She took fantastic level of care and showed genuine love for Harley. She paid attention to him, took him on walks and provided timely updates. She’s absolutely amazing and I recommend her services to fellow pet parents! ☺️

Great stay with Sandra! She is friendly, responsive and clearly understands dogs very well. My dog had a wonderful time and loved playing with Maya. Would definitely book again!

We had a great stay with Sandra. She’s fantastic with dogs and Daisy seemed to be very comfortable with the environment and activities provided. I will certainly book again!

Safety, trust & environment

When visiting a client's home, I try to leave it the same way I found it. I usually just focus on pet-related care and activities. Ultimately, it is up to the client to let me know about any concerns or additional steps they would like me to take upon visiting their home. As for my house, we have a decent-sized backyard and gardens with lots of stuff to sniff (all dog-friendly) and a field behind the house to play fetch, go on walks, etc! Additionally, my place also comes with a built-in playmate called Maya the Shih Tzu! She's very eager to make new friends and has plenty of toys to share. However, if you would be more comfortable keeping your pup separated from other dogs, just let me know. The house is designed so that they don't have to interact if they don't want to. Additionally, I have experience with taking care of elderly dogs and dogs with special needs, so please just let me know what they need to be comfortable, and I will accommodate them.

Information Sandra Z. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, conditions, dietary restrictions, etc. When I volunteered at an animal clinic a couple years ago, I got a lot of experience handling dogs with various conditions.

A typical day

There is a great trail nearby for walks and also the field behind our house is very dog-friendly. I love to go on walks, so if your dog enjoys that too, we'll get along great! Other than that, I also love to play games with dogs. I've been making/testing out toys I've seen on Pinterest that are designed to mentally stimulate dogs. ?
