Pet care experience
I am a stay at home mom with 2 school - aged boys. My kids love dogs almost as much as I do and are very good at helping out with them. I have been a dog owner for 30+ years and our dogs have always been treated like family, including having their own Christmas stockings. Unfortunately, we had to put both of our girls (black labs, ages 14 and 15) down, so we are currently a pet-free home. I will only care for dogs in my home that get along with children so everyone will feel comfortable. If your dog plays well with others, (s)he will be treated as family! I work from home, so I spend the majority of my day at home. Your pet will not be alone for long, if at all. We live on 3 acres and while we don’t have a fenced yard, your pet will spend plenty of time outside (on a leash) and be walked around the yard every few hours.

This was one of the best experiences I have had while using rover. She regularly sent updates and pictures which was great to see. Her and her family took wonderful care of my dog, taking him on many walks, playing, and just relaxing. I cannot put into words how much peace of mind it provided and how sweet it was that they cared for my senior dog in all the perfect ways. Thank you so much!
Very satisfied. Sent pictures of my sweet boy without me needing to ask for them. He seemed happy when he left and will definitely be booking again.
Sandra did a great job with my dog. She was so good with him. They went for walkies. She fed him. They played with his favorite ball that probably takes a couple hours then he got to spend the night. She’s a very nice person and I highly recommend her for any pet needs I’ll definitely hire her again she does such a great job and she really loves dogs and I would give her five stars.
Sandy took great care of my girl! Daisy is kind of skittish around new people, but she seemed very comfortable with Sandy and her family when I picked her up. Will be using her services again.

I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a good amount of property and will walk your pup throughout the day. If they need more exercise, I do have a long lead I can put them on to play fetch or just run around. I do not allow the pups to be outside unsupervised or unleashed at any time.

I would like to know that they get along well with other dogs and children. Do they need any medication or special attention? I also like to know about their mood and temperament - do they like to be left alone? Do they require a lot of attention? Are they very active? Would they rather snuggle than go for a walk? Because I will be walking your dog multiple times a day, they must be good on a leash and not constantly pull.
A typical day
We will play in the yard and go on walks around our property. They will get some activity in with my boys and be treated like family.

Availability
I currently work from home. I will be able to take your pet for multiple walks daily and attend to their needs consistently. Even though I work from home, my time is important. Last minute requests will have a $25 charge added to the booking.
