Dog lover. Big, small, love em all.

Pet care experience

Meet and greet required prior to service. 48 hour advance notice encouraged. I have prior experience as a professional dog walker in downtown Boston. All breeds from the tiny to the biggies! I would pick them up in a dog bus and hit the trails off leash in Blue Hills. All on voice command and all a happy pack. I have also cared for a bosses diabetic dog so I am comfortable administering meds if needed. My experience runs deep from having dogs throughout my childhood a Golden mix, a big Black Lab, and a dainty Pomeranian. I am a loving dog owner of a 11 year old terrier mix Floyd that has special needs (separation anxiety). Floyd and I have been together since he was four months old he was rescued from a shelter. Floyd would welcome some company so we are actively accepting doggie day care needs and overnight boarding in my apt. Dog friends must not be young puppies and under 30lbs due to apartment restrictions. A meet and greet prior to service is recommended to make sure our pups are a good fit and you can see the layout of where your fur baby will be while your off having some self care time.

Sandra spent time before our first visit getting to know my beagle, Millie, who has separation anxiety. She was willing to make accommodations so that Millie would be comfortable and so would I! Millie's first visit was very positive. We hope to work up to longer stays and really appreciate Sandra's willingness to work with us.

Sandra took care of our two large labs for their evening routine . She sent us lots of photos and kept us up to date during her visit. She took extra great care of them. Thanks Sandra!

I live on a first floor apartment with a slider to a patio that faces the woods. So if a quick break is needed no problem. If your doggy likes fresh air I do have a stake in the ground with a leash set up so they can sunbathe while I work. I work from home and your dog is within eye shot across the room. I would keep your dogs schedule as close to how they have it at home according to potty breaks, walks and bedtime. My apartment complex has a great walking loop so getting a walk in, in a safe environment is no problem. Your doggy would be treated as they were my own allowed on all furniture, cuddled and most importantly not left alone for more than a quick trip to the coffee shop. Floyd and I are looking forward to meeting you and acquiring some regulars that come to visit us often. I feel if you use the same sitter over and over the dog becomes more comfortable and less stressed leaving you the owner less stressed while you are away. Win, win for all. We welcome you and your pup to our lil' pack. -Sandra and Floyd the dog Profile update 1/19/23- My Best Friend Floyd is now over the rainbow bridge but I don't have the heart to change my whole profile as it is a way of keeping him close. Thank you for understanding.

Home

Lives in an apartment
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Sandra O. would like to know about your pet

I can not accept young puppies at this time. Dogs must meet the weight restriction of 30lbs or under. Must love a good belly rub or ear scratch.

A typical day

I will adjust the activity level for as little or as much as your dog requires. I am known to go for a run so doggy could join me or I am very good at being a couch potato also. Your doggy would definitely get a minimum of three potty breaks and exercise would be based on needs. I am flexible.
