I have had dogs all of my life and currently have one dog who shares my house. Over the past 18 years I have fostered dogs for a rescue group with over 100 dogs who have stayed for varying lengths of time until an adoptive home was found. Caring for so many dogs has given me experience with different personalities, ages, medical conditions and behaviors. I am retired but do work a part-time job during the school year. Dogs have been and continue to be a big part of my life. I love spending time with them, playing, walking and training them. I know how hard it is to leave your dog when you have to be gone. I will take care of them with the love and care they deserve. I recently had to take in my mother's dog, Gracie and would prefer smaller dogs at this time. I will consider dogs over 15 lbs on a case by case basis.
