Pet care experience
I grew up with a rescue dog and have lived with other dogs after I left home. I would babysit those roommates’ dogs and play with them while they were gone. I'll treat your pet like my new best friend... because, well, they are! 🥰 I'm thrilled to shower with your fur baby with attention while you are away. If you are gone for a while, I am more than happy to water your plant babies too.

Sandra did an exceptional job with Kaiju, the moment I brought him home he fell asleep! She was very responsive through my trip and sent me plenty of photos. Finding a sitter is always difficult but I could tell Kaiju was in good hands with Sandra. Will book again in the future, he misses her already!
Sandra is incredibly selfless, responsible, and loving. Sandra is a friend who is always willing to put you first. She has been there for me endlessly in times of need. She has a huge heart and is passionate about helping her friends reach success. Sandra has always been there to help coach me whether it was on relationship advice or resume advice. Sandra has a great work ethic and is someone you can always depend on to get the job done. Her role as a PM at Microsoft is a great testimony of this. She has made a name for herself in her company and never shies away from taking on new opportunities. Did I mention she is a huge animal lover? Sandra has grown up with a dog at home, who she is very close with. For as long as I've known Sandra, she's always been happy to pause on the street to say hi to a dog or spend an afternoon along with her pup at home. Sandra's love for dogs combined with her qualities outlined above are a great reason why she would be a perfect pick for Rover. I know she would take her role very seriously and would give any pup the selfless, responsible, kind love that it deserves.
Sandra is wonderful! I've seen her first hand with many dogs of my own (and hers too), and shows nothing but genuine love, care, and support! I've always made it a point to reach out to her first whenever I need someone to take care of my dogs :) -- She was a great communicator, made sure my dogs were fed / hydrated, and sent lots of photos of them having a great time!

***Please schedule a meet and greet if you haven't booked with me before! It's a great way to ensure everyone feels safe and happy about the arrangements, and so I know how to best care for your pet(s). Before the walk, I'd love to know what their behaviors on walks tend to be like (do they pull, are they allowed off-leash, what commands are they trained for). How are they with other dogs? Do they tend to rush towards passing people, cars, etc? For drop-in's, are there any house rules that apply to your pet? How/where should I leave them when I end the drop-in? Please let me know ahead of time if you have cameras, and where they are placed. It is against Rover's policy to record a sitter without their knowledge and consent, and can result in the termination of services. I don’t mind cameras personally (it is your home after all!) but be mindful of this policy.
A typical day
If they have regular spots, I'm happy to take them there! Please let me know. Additionally, I love the wide open spaces at Jack London Square and Lake Merritt, so we can go there instead depending on weather and distance.

I work from home on flexible hours, so I’m close by and am happy to care for your pup while you’re away for the workday! Before 9 am, 12-1 pm, and after 3 pm are ideal.
