What differentiates me from other petcare options is my experience and personal care and attention for your animals and you. As someone who has struggled to choose between a kennel's experience and knowledge, and a pet sitter's attention and love, I wanted to combine both appealing aspects, and provide people with an option that enables them to KNOW their furry loved ones are safe, health, happy, and being treated with all the love and attention they deserve. I have all the knowledge of a kennel attendant- because I worked at a kennel learning all the correct procedures and best ways to ease a dog or cat's anxiety and keep them safe. I've taken extensive classes on animal care, handling, and communication, and everything in between. I've lead many a pack of up to 20 dogs, and I've met and bonded with hundreds of dogs and cats. I can simply provide your dogs and cats with the best care around- because I have the knowledge, experience, natural communication skills, and most importantly- love and reliability to keep them happy and safe. I will stay with your dogs and cats, and provide them with all the love and attention they need while you're away, and give you updates as often as you'd like. Special treatment, medications, and working with behavioral issues is not a problem. Rates are determined by a number of factors, so email for a quote. I am fascinated by the species; it's as if some magical creature has just been dropped into our world! The knowledge and skills dogs possess are still far beyond our understanding, and most people have no idea how brilliant and intuitive dogs are. They need us as a guide for the human world, but they have so much to say if only we listen. I listen. My experience administering medication Yes, and I know how to get a dog to take a pill. Injections are not something that I generally do, as I've only been trained in subcutaneous injections.

I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. However, dogs with certain aggression issues may not be the best fit for me depending on the type of aggression and size of the dog. Although I love every breed, I have a special fondness for giant sized dogs, any type of pit (seriously loving breed villianized by the media), and Rottweilers. I also share a close connection to Labs, and adore them as well, especially since my baby growing up was an amazingly loving Lab. Some other breeds I especially love: Dachshunds, GSDs, Boxers, Poodles, Cocker Spaniels, Mastiffs, Danes, and many more.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog The majority of the day. I may have some errands, or something along those lines, but most of the day I'll be at your home, cuddling up with the dogs and a book, or playing a doggy game, or having the dogs "assist" in cooking or cleaning, or something like that. Dogs can be included in any task, and love to be. My boyfriends dog follows me everywhere when he's over, and does all sorts of things with me. When I'm looking for something, I ask him where it is, and ask him along to help look, and so he looks through things even if he doesn't know what he's looking for. When it is located, I show it to him and praise him for a job well done, since we found it together. Everything can be done this way; as a team. Dogs just want to be part of whatever your doing. Jagger now also goes through other people's things when they appear to be looking for things, and sometimes brings objects he believes they may be looking for. He is just happy to help and be included, like all dogs. Extra house-sitting services Absolutely. I am a spectacular cleaner as well, if you'd like any special cleaning done.
