A Dog's Paradise @ This Loving Home
Pet care experience
I've been house and dog sitting for over 25 yrs, both in my home and traveling to others' homes. I custom-designed my home to cater to my dog (who's now in doggie heaven): I have a nice-sized back yard and plenty of room in the home. I recently purchased a dog ramp for older dogs and have stairs that can be gated at the bottom. I'd like to fill my home again with the love & affection of other dogs. I live alone (no children) and have always exercised extreme care with other people's animals. Allow me to do the same for yours! You can feel confident that I will only have one dog in my home at a time (unless they come from the same family, of course).

Sandi is one of the best. I think she’s a dog whisperer. Our dog takes a while to warm up to strangers but every time she goes to Sandi’s she runs right up and gives her a big kiss.
Sandi was great when she watched our cat Moon. She was very easy to interact with, very accommodating, she cared deeply for the cat, and we had absolutely no issues with her at all. Amazing sitter, will continue to return to her again when we have pet sitting needs.
Sandi is absolutely the best! Our dog tends to be a bit offish when we drop her off with a sitter but this time she went right up and gave Sandi a big kiss and tail wag.

I have a fully-fenced backyard with plenty of room to romp around in. My home has plenty of space/area where your doggie can choose if they prefer to stay downstairs or explore upstairs (and can have a gate at the bottom, if necessary); I always ask what the dog's normal routine is and what the owners prefer (in the way of being on furniture, sleeping on bed, etc.) and keep it to that routine.

Of course, any medical needs is imperative; prescriptions and emergency vet info and emergency contact info is appreciated. Additionally, it's always good to know any behavioral habits (so I know what's "normal") and so I know what to expect.
A typical day
I am in the habit of constantly talking to the doggies, saying their name repeatedly and showing affection. I play with them when they want to and take lots of pictures (especially funny ones). I do have a park right on my street (about 4 houses down) so that's always an easy and convenient option.

I'm currently working part-time (yay!) so I have plenty of time to be home with your doggie! And when at work (3 days/wk), I work very close to home (5 min) so I come home at lunch every day.
