Pet care experience
My first memory is playing with my dog and ever since I was always surrounded by pets. I am a caring, patient, trustworthy dog lover who will take care of your dog like it was one of my own (I have 2 small dogs - Yuengling & Carly). I will walk, play, feed, treat and take care of your pet so they feel happy, loved and secure. Following any special instructions, preferences, and requests you may have. I know the importance of communication — You can have peace of mind knowing that you will get constant updates and can expect a lot of photos of your pup having a great time :) I have experience with obedience training and working with trained and untrained dogs, administering medications and providing dog first-aid and emergency CPR. Samuel provided the very best care for my pup Carla. I don’t think she even wanted to come home because she had so much fun with all the attention, toys, and walks. And Samuel sent so many photos and updates that I was able to fully enjoy my weekend away without worrying or feeling guilty for leaving Carla behind.
As always, Sam and Rachael were amazing with Pandora while we were out of town. She had such a good time with them and their two pups, and we are so truly grateful!!! Thank you!!!
Samuel watched our 7 year old pit mix Amara over the holiday while we were traveling and it was wonderful! He and his wife have two dogs who were able to keep her company and a yard where she could spend time outside (even in the cold weather). Sam sent us photos and updates everyday and took fantastic care of our girl! We will definitely reach out to Sam again when we need a great dog sitter in the city :)
Sam and Rachael were absolutely amazing with our senior pup Pandora as usual. Pandora was so happy when we arrived at their home and pulled us in to see her friends! Sam sent us many updates and photos during her stay and really gave us peace of mind. Thank you Sam and Rachael!!!

Information Samuel P. would like to know about your pet
ALL breeds & sizes are welcome! I would like to know if your dog has any aggressive tendencies and/or showed aggression towards people or animals before? (that’s ok, no such thing as a bad dog — sometimes dogs can act out of fear or impulse when triggered and I want to be prepared for that impulse / natural response if needed). Is your dog crate trained? (I have a large crate which I do not use unless it is part of the dog daily routine or makes the dog feel safe as a familiar surrounding) Does your dog have any known triggers? Any special behaviors I should be aware of?
A typical day
The house I live in has a big private fenced yard for your dog to run around and play! Providing frequent potty breaks and walks around the neighborhood for your dog to curiously explore. Also located minutes away from 2 public dog parks (Shaw dog park and S street dog park) and a number of vets (14th St) in case of an emergency. For dog walking requests - I will walk your dog on his routine walk route so he’s comfortable and familiar with the surrounding. Upon request, I will be happy to take your dog to a play day in the park :)
