Pet care experience
I am a UT student who has a passion for taking care of dogs. I’m from Baltimore, MD, and I’ve had experience volunteering at the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter in Baltimore, MD. I had to take care of and walk many lost, abused, or surrendered dogs in the Baltimore area. The training I received has taught me how to interact with dogs that range from excitable and outgoing, to shy or even aggressive dogs or cats. I have had dogs all my life, and now that I’m a student on my own it would be an amazing experience to interact with your pets now that my family dogs are all the way back in Maryland and I don’t get to see them often. I am a very caring, down to earth guy who enjoys the company of animals. I have dog sat for my neighbors and for family friends, so that and the amazing experience I have volunteering at the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter makes me a great candidate for watching your beloved pets. Also, I love taking pictures of animals, so you’ll be sure to get a couple pictures of your animals while they’re in my care!

Sam was an amazing sitter! He stayed in our home and watched our pup overnight. He kept us updated and sent multiple pictures throughout the stay. He responded to all of my messages in a timely manner and even came to meet our pup a few days before he watched her. I 100% plan to rebook with Sam the next time we need a sitter!!
Sam has house sat for us for years. He’s wonderful with our 2 pups and 2 cats. He treats them like his own. They flock to him when he comes in the house. He’s responsible, trustworthy and always timely. Our animals adore him. We can go on trips with confidence knowing our pets are cared for like family! :)

I love taking care of high energy dogs by taking them outside and playing with them. Whether it’s tug-of-war or a game of catch, you’ll be sure that your dog will be pooped after a day with me. My walks usually range from 1-2 miles, and if they’re car friendly I might take them out to one of the Metro parks.
