Dog walker looking for work!
Pet care experience
I've housesat for family friends many times since I was 16, and have actively taken care of 1 dog and 1 cat with my family. I can care for puppies also, though it's ideal if they are potty-trained.
About Samuel M.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced yard, an indoor/outdoor cat who'll eventually warm up to your fur baby, and a variety of nearby streets and parks for exercise.
Information Samuel M. would like to know about your pet
If your pet is not friendly to any of the following, I definitely need to know so I can take precautions: cats, other dogs, people that appear threatening in some way. -Having a 'prey drive' also applies. Their degree of maintenance -- low-/high-maintenance -- is important to know as well, to help me better plan out my day and meet all obligations. For example: -How long of a walk is ideal time-wise and/or distance-wise? How many times per day? -Does your pet have an established, daily routine of activities? (i.e. set Breakfast and Dinner times, times of the day wherein they are supposed to be walked/exercised, etc.) What commands does your pet respond to consistently? I absolutely cannot have them in my house if they don't know what "leave it", "no", "ah ah", and "[pet's name], here!" mean, for example. (Especially applies if my cat makes an appearance, and your pet is not friendly.)
A typical day
I will walk dogs around the block and/or neighborhood. I'll throw objects for them to chase and fetch (i.e. ball, frisbee, etc). If there's a dog park that they know and love, I'll take them there. We'll explore neighborhoods that I live near to.
Services
Samuel can watch in your home
Availability
I have a part-time job, so I'm able to dedicate a few hours to walking your dog rain or shine. Ideally on weekdays, of course.
