I'm that annoying person who will stop you in the street and strike up a conversation just to fuss over your dog. Although an avid dog lover, my work and social life at this moment does not allow me to a full-time dog daddy. However, the time I do spend with dogs, those of friends and family, I tend to spoil them rotten, always treating them as if they were my own. I love to shower them with affection, and i'm particularly fond of a long walk or jog. In a formal setting, in 2019/2020, I spent three months looking after injured street dogs and cows at the Animal Aid shelter in Udaipur, India. This taught me a lot about dog behaviour, particularly approaching more nervous dogs. To give you some background about myself, I live in a flat in leafy Silvertown, right next to Thames Barrier Park and the Royal Docks. I work in software and my job permits me to work from home regularly. However I usually venture into a WeWork (co working) office space at least two days a week. These offices are completely dog friendly, set up to support workers bringing their pooches to work. As such, I’m happy to accommodate in both settings.
