Midtown Dog Care Professional

Pet care experience

Professional dog lover has availability to care for your dog(s) in Midtown and surrounding areas. I am a canine lover and consider myself to be a really patient person as well. I Haven't met a pooch I didn't fall in love with! Please contact me if your dog needs a companion - either for walks, visits or even a sleep over. I discuss each dog's nature and individual needs with its owner. I follow instructions for walking, feeding and exercise programs from dog owners and ensure that they are being complied perfectly. I possess the physical strength needed to walk large dogs too! If needed, I provide food and water following dog owners schedule. My schedule is flexible so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for House Sitting, Drop-In Visits and Dog Walking, anytime! I no longer watch dogs in my house, unless an emergency. Contact me personally to discuss, if your pet has a special diet/ let me know

Sam was everything you hope for in a sitter for your pet. Not much to add to what has already been said. Reliable, responsible, and most of all attentive to my fur-dude, George. Highly recommend!

Sam was absolutely incredible! He was very detail oriented (which we love) and took the extra time to get to know the intricacies of our dog. She is a bit older so she can be grumpy and she's also leash aggressive which can be a real challenge in Midtown. Sam handled it without a hitch, sent us a bunch of adorable videos while we were away, was very responsive, and he even straightened up the condo! Highly, highly recommend! And if he'll handle our wild beast again we will gladly re-request him as a 1st choice. Thank you so much Sam!

Sam was unbelievable—not only could he handle our rowdy velcro dog, we came home to a spotless house! Cannot say enough good things. Highly, highly recommend!

Sam is amazing! He watched our dog Hobbes for 5 days while we were out of town and did such an amazing job. He sent us photos and kept us updated. We came back to not only a happy puppy but also a clean home! A big thumbs up!

Information Samuel H. would like to know about your pet

Prepare for your dog: *Will there will be enough food, treats, etc. for the time you will be away? *Where is your dog's leash is kept? *If you have a carrier for your dog, where it is kept? *Is your dog is on medication? (Leave detailed written instructions on its use) *Are ID tags on each of your dogs? *Do you have any outdoor dogs? *Does your dog(s) have toys to play with while you're away? *Have you notified your Vet that you will be out of town and that a dog sitter will be caring for your dog? *Have you provided written details about the type of care you'd like your dog to receive if you cannot be reached? *Have you given your Vet my name, as the person who will be caring for your dog(s) while you're away? (This is especially important if your pet has a health condition that needs to be watched.) Prepare your home: *Inform me of anything that may be out of the ordinary (sinks that don't drain properly, toilet that overflows, etc.). *Show me where the thermostat is and how to operate it. Be sure to leave it set at a comfortable temperature for your dogs while you're gone. *If anyone will be in your home during your absence to share dog care responsibilities, let me know. (If someone else will be in the home while they are caring for your dog, let me know) *For dogs that stay outdoors, secure the yard and lock any gates. *Potentially dangerous plants or decorations should be put somewhere that your pets won't be able to get to them. Keep this in mind especially during the holidays when trees and other decorations are on display. *Place cleaning supplies where they will be easily accessible if needed. *If you rent, give your landlord my name in case of emergency. Give me the landlord's name as well. *If my first visit will be after dark, be sure to leave an outside light on. Contact information: *Prior to your departure, give me information on how you can be contacted. (If for some reason I were unable to get into your home, leaving the information on your kitchen counter would be useless.) It is best to provide me with this information before you leave. *If you will not be able to be contacted while you're gone, be sure to provide the name and phone number of someone who will be able to make decisions on your behalf.
