Having grown up with dogs, I know that daytime can be lonely and sometimes stressful for them while the family is at work or school. Often a dog's only highlight of the day is when the owner comes home, but they deserve much more than that. Social interaction and adventure are key to a dog's happiness and fulfillment. I'd love to be a dog's daytime friend and relief to an event-less day on the couch. Living in Rochester, I make it over to my mom's house in Webster on the weekends and some week days to take my 2 dogs out, usually to a nearby hike. We have a blast each time and I would love to provide those moments to other adventure seekers. I love all types of dogs, tiny to massive. Smaller dogs have better luck with me than other sitters because I know how to be approach gently and respond to the dog's comfort level. My dogs are 9 and 14 lb. poodles so I have plenty of experience taking care of small dogs. I have also taken care of my Aunt's Rottweiler-Lab mix several times and had a blast. Overall I don't have much of a preference, but certainly know how to be gentle to small and/or timid dogs. Please feel free to talk and ask questions!
