Pet care experience
I have taken care of turtles, dogs, Guinea pigs, bearded dragons, hamsters, cats, ducks, frogs, snakes, you name it! I’ve always been very active and can manage high-energy dogs or any pet you may have. I’m very patient but also observant in case anything needs attention immediately. I work in Potsdam and typically late on the weekends, but always have time to run back and forth to take care of any priorities with your pet. Part of the family of course!

Sam stayed a week with my three dogs and not once did I have to worry about their care! This is our second booking with him and he definitely cares for our pets properly. I can’t say enough about him as a sitter. So glad to have him.
Sam was awesome with our two dogs. He sent a lot of text updates and photos. He played a lot with our energetic dog and made sure they were both comfortable. We will definitely be asking him to puppysit again!

I am just at your service, whatever makes you more comfortable as an owner I will follow. I love to take dogs on walks in parks or hiking trails, but if you prefer to just play inside or walk around town I can do that too! I’m able to hold any size dog as I have had Great Danes in my life when they see a squirrel haha so whatever type of dog you have I will be up for the task! I’ve given insulin shots, medications in food, etc as well as taking care of a dog with blindness. I will always put them first and make sure they are healthy and happy.

Always nice to know if any medication is required, routines they like or dislike. I’ve been bitten in the face a couple times so it would be appreciated to make me aware if they tend to bite (still not a problem!) I don’t like charging a lot because I just enjoy being around animals and am happy to do it :)
A typical day
Typical day is usually waking up and getting out for an early walk, feed, play and take out once more. Love to take them to hiking trails, I find it’s less stressful and more enjoyable for the animal with less commotion/people/animals around. Give any medicine that may be required at specific times, tidy up the play area and wait for the next adventure!

Availability
I’m not allowed pets in my apartment so I often visit the shelter in Potsdam so I can still be in contact with animals there! I pet sit for my friend who has 3 dogs and 4 cats as well as an abundance of reptiles so I’m prepared for almost anything! Walking dogs or sitting in the cat room haha I’ve done it all. If they make a mess whether it’s feces or vomit I have no problem cleaning it up and will always make sure it’s as it was before and that your animal is okay!
