I am a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina Asheville with a Bachelors in Psychology. I have always had a passion for animals, dogs in particular. In addition to raising my own animals, I have also fostered puppies and kittens through the Asheville Humane Society. Last summer I cared for a 7 year old golden retriever who was training to become a therapy dog. Her care included feeding and exercising as well as taking her to weekly training sessions, continuing her training at home, and weekly walk-throughs of the mental health facility where she would be working. Training therapy dogs is my dream and my passion. I am currently training for the City of Oaks Marathon in November and am always looking for 4-legged running buddies for my shorter runs (3-10 miles). I currently work part time at a local cafe and am available all day Monday - Thursday as well as Friday - Sunday after 3pm.
