Pet care experience
Starting my journey into pet care, I originally worked at a humane society as an adoption counselor where I learned the different varieties of breeds and their needs & personalities that come with the specific breeds. Wanting to perfect my craft further in the animal care industry, I worked in general practice as a vet assistant, and now work as a technician working alongside doctors 3 times a week completing surgeries and helping manage sicknesses in cats and dogs. I am very experienced in giving medications to animals who may have a calm or not so calm personality, and can determine if your pets health is declining while your pet is in my care. I communicate all details extensively to the pet owner, and do provide updated photos/videos to make the pet owner feel a lot more comfortable. I also do professional photos of your pets upon request/long boarding stays. Please keep in mind that it does take quite some time to edit/position your furbabies, so please let me know if this is something you’re interested in. Examples in my photo gallery! I have groomed animals as well, and have provided countless nail trims, tooth brushing, etc. if this is something you are needing/interested in please let me know & we can arrange that!

I have no pets in my home currently. I would not board cats & dogs together unless they come from the same family as I would like to avoid potential prey threat, and would love to meet your furbabies on my downtime! I am able to take multiple pets from the same home, but will not take multiple different pets as I would like to minimize any potential threat. I have a backyard where pets are able to roam/potty as they please, and have a space for them to run around and exhaust their energy. I love all breeds, and am knowledgeable on each one. If your pet has certain medication, I would just need your routine & I’ll be able to follow owners schedule & instruction.

If your dog has special needs, important medications, certain feeding schedules, I can adhere to all those requests. Im able to administer oral medications such as clavamox, gabapentin, etc. and able to give SQ Fluids as long as new sterile needles are provided.
A typical day
There is a big park right outside my house where I’m able to walk your pets. I will not free roam pets whilst exploring, but allow them to run freely as I have a fenced backyard in the proximity of the home.

During the days I am entrusted with your pet, I will have ample amount of time to stimulate your pet, take care of them, and make sure they are engaged and enjoying themselves. I understand the hesitation of leaving your pet elsewhere aside from your own care, but I have taken care of boarded pets, have worked in 24/7 daycares, and have medical experience in the vet field on top of that. I’ll be able to read body language and know whether your pet is in distress or your pet is happy & comfortable.
