Pet care experience
Throughout my life, I have always loved dogs no matter the breed, whether a small lap dog or a giant great dane. My family has owned many dogs throughout my lifetime that I have always loved and taken amazing care of whether it be daily feedings, weekly showers, vet visits, or just simply snuggling with them. Since I turned 18, I have house sat dogs for family members and friends when they left for vacations. During my dog-sitting experience, I have taken care of dogs with high energy, dogs suffering from medical conditions (such as frequent seizures or blindness), and dogs who just need attention all day. When I met my husband, the main reason his extended family instantly knew I was a keeper was because of the way I loved their cherished dogs. I also have lived with cats throughout my college years and took care of them for my roommate. Overall, I am a wonderful animal caretaker that has patience, overwhelming love, and an innate ability to connect with all types of animals.

Wonderful experience! I could tell my baby was in good hands with Sammy! She took excellent care of him while I worked my 24 hour shift and went above and beyond to make sure I knew he was safe!
Sammy is fantastic! When I interviewed her to watch my 5 crazy fur kids she was so interested in them. Even my normal cat that isn't super nice was purring and rubbing on her. We are working on not letting them jump and she honored that for us. Even if I just asked her to let them go potty and play in the house as a drop in visit she took them on a walk if the weather was cool enough. And when we went on our vacation she sent me a ton of pictures and kept me updated. She is a great sitter and she has a big heart for animals. I recommend her to anyone. Especially as someone who works with animals myself. Definitely pick sammy. :)
Sam was amazing! We struggled with finding care for our 3 dogs last minute weekend getaway. The dogs loved her and she is perfect. So polite and professional. She provided us with photos and kept us updated while we were away. We highly recommend her to our friends and family within the area, and to anyone else.

I am willing to do whatever you and your dog need. When on walks, I am always observant of my surroundings including potential threats from cars, humans, or other animals. At night, I will do what works best for your pets whether that be sleeping with the door open to let them sleep in bed with me or putting them in a crate.

It is always nice to know if dogs are jumpers or runners. I am good at handling either, but it is always great to be aware. Also, if you dog has any habits that you are trying to break, such as chewing on the table leg or scratching the back door, I will remain extra vigilant during my stay to ensure they maintain the same level of obedience and training.
A typical day
As I am new to Las Vegas, I do not have any designated walking trails but I do love to explore new trails and neighborhoods. When I am with your pet, I will cuddle them, play fetch with them, run around outside with them, whatever your dog loves to do!

Availability
I am just now starting my legal career, so my availability is limited to weeknights and weekends, but I will love your dog every second I am with them. Don’t worry, my hours at work are not crazy. I work 8-5pm most days.
