They/them. I am a PhD student living in Chicago! I am from Kansas, and I miss my dogs from home immensely. Caring for your dog or cat would be an absolute treat! I have had dogs and cats for my entire life. I got my first chocolate lab puppy of my own when I was 9, and cared for her throughout her life. I got another puppy (an adorable lab mix named Scout) when I was a junior in high school. He lives with my parents along with our other lab mix Zoey! Two of my family's dogs have had puppies during my life, and I helped care for both of the mothers and the puppies for their first few months of life! I absolutely love working with dogs, and have experience with dogs of all ages and energy levels. I have walked pups and done petsitting through Rover and Wag for the past five years. While living in Portland, I volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society as well, where I walked dogs and worked with anxious and shy pups to help them adjust to the shelter environment. I am happy to play with your young pup or snuggle on the couch with your senior dog! I am communicative and responsible, and I will prioritize meeting your pup's every need! I am also happy to send you as many updates as you would like. I also love cats and would be happy to snuggle with your kitty! I had several cats growing up, and currently have two sweet kitties at home! Both of them are shy and anxious, so I have a special affection for shy/anxious kitties, but I love all cats!
