Pet care experience
I am the proud momma of a 6-year-old golden doodle named Moose! At a very young age, I was drawn to the idea of providing services that allow me to care for other living beings. My interest in these services led me to acquire over 10 years of experience in animal care, child care, and senior care. I have experience with animals of all ages (6 weeks-15yr old) and experience with dogs of various breeds. In relation to my work experience with animal care, my portfolio is made up of the following dog breeds: Great Danes, Pit Bulls, Chihuahuas, Golden doodles, Labordoodles, Huskeys, Golden Retrievers, French Bulldogs, German Shepards, Cairn Terrier, and Bull Mastiffs. I have various reasons that go beyond my credible work history and intense love for animals, which reflect why I will be the best candidate for your fur baby. I am a very active individual that aspires to stay fit and be outdoors as much as possible. I walk AT LEAST 3 miles every day and therefore I am able to provide your pet with more than just the basic care they need on a day-to-day basis. By choosing me and my services, your pet is guaranteed to get the love and exercise they desire, guaranteeing YOU that your family is receiving the biggest bang for your buck! Sammi has been dog sitting for my husband and I for a little over 3 years now and we absolutely adore her! She is kind, trustworthy, patient and shows nothing but love to our little chihuahua. He wiggles extra hard at the door every time he hears her voice. Sammi has helped us out on many occasions that have been extremely short notice and we appreciate her more than she knows!
Sammi is that “dog” person who has the natural connections to dogs that they automatically love. I see her daily give the best to her dog, exercise, love, training and all the care he needs to be the healthiest, happiest dog every day! This combined with her work ethics, and energy level would make make any dog( and in turn their human) have a safe, energetic, loving experience every time!
Sammi is the best! She is super responsible, personable, and has a ton of experience. She's had family dogs and is now the best dog-mom to her pup Moose who loves to play with my Golden, Boomer. Sammi has walked Boomer and kept him for overnights where he is visibly content, safe, and very loved - she even sends the cutest pictures and videos to check-in. I'd totally recommend Sammi to anyone who treats their pet like family because she does too!

The way I care for pets at home differs for every client. When meeting a new client I put trust in the owner to educate me on everything I should know when caring for their pet. In turn, this ensures that I, the owner, and their pet will have a positive experience with little to no hiccups. Once I am knowledgeable about that individual animal's needs, behaviors, likes, and dislikes, I am able to create a care routine/environment that is suitable for that specific client!

A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally just as much as I love to stimulate myself in those ways. My day-to-day routine includes a walk of at least 3 miles and I would love to bring your furry friend along for those adventures. Additionally, I love to seek out nature trails, mini hikes, and other unique places outdoors to help give your pets a day full of different activities

Availability
A fun fact about me is that I will be traveling cross country in my fully converted van beginning October 15th, 2022. During my travels, I will be studying for my salesforce certification which in turn allows me to have flexible hours to care for your pets along the way. I will continue to update my location throughout my travels in order to accommodate any Rover families in my current area. Additionally, if you are looking for someone to care for your pet over the time span of a couple of days or weeks, please note that I will have my home on wheels with me so as long as I have a place to park there will be no need for you to provide housing! While my availability will technically be extremely flexible, my preferred working hours will be Mon-Sun 6am-9am and 4pm-7pm.
