Pet care experience
A little about myself..I was born and raised here in the Central Valley, where my family farmed almonds and I spent much of my time riding horses.Growing up on a farm, I was able to experience raising and caring for horses, cows, dogs, cats, birds, fish, lizards and hamsters. I also worked as a pet advisor for Blue Buffalo, educating pet parents on their pets dietary needs. For the past several years, I have had a career with Stanislaus County. However, my true passion is my pets. I have raised Australian Shepherds since I was 18 and I now have two, that are my pride and joy. Im blessed to have availability in the evenings and Friday-Sunday to help you with your pet needs.I know how important our pet's well being is when we're away, and I hope I can bring you peace of mind while away, and happiness to your pet's heart. This was my first time using Rover and I’ve never left my dog with anyone but I needed to so I checked it out and chose Sammi because of her reviews and let me tell you, she is amazing! She calmed my anxiety because I wasn’t sure how my GSD would act around her two dogs but overall, he was good. She’s a very kind, sweet, communicative person. I really appreciated the updates and how caring she was with my KENO. I’d definitely recommend her and I will be booking her again! Your awesome & thanks again! :-)
PERFECT! PERFECT! Sammi is the sweetest. I got her very last minute, she came home to meet my baby boy Simba ?. Was even okay with having me take a proof of her identity since it was my first time using Rover. She walked him as promised & sent me enough pics! It was my first time leaving my boy alone & I know now that I can trust her, will stick with her in the future too ?
If you want go on vacation, without worrying. Sammi’s your gal. Sammi will care & lovevyour furbabies as her own. Our boys ❤️ her. She’s trustworthy, reliable, loving and someone you can count on. Thank you Sammi for loving our boys.
Sammi is by far one of the most pet friendly people I have ever known. Over the past few years, I have observed her dedication with her own two Aussie's, and her passion to love and take care of dog's is very dear to her heart. I am sure your pet would not have any issue if Sammi is keeping an eye on them, they are in good hands. I would recommend her to anyone.

Id love to know if your pup has any socialization issues with people, children or other animals, any allergies and if there is anything they may be scared of. Your pet's well being is my number one priority. I want them to feel safe and happy while in my care and for you to have peace of mind while away from them.
A typical day
While at my home, my two Aussies (Luca and Auggie) will love to make your pupper feel at home. They are both well socialized with people, dogs and even cats. They are up to date on all vaccinations and have regular health check ups. Both are spoiled, eating quality food and treats. I own my home and do not have any children. My home is clean, tidy and comfortable. Your pets will feel at home and be treated like my own. I have a large backyard, that is fenced with lots of grass to play on. I provide lots of toys of every variety to keep our pups happy and entertained. Id love to take your dog on a trail, walk in the park or even to a local dog park if you choose. My parents own 20 acres in Oakdale, Ca where a large portion is fenced in where they can run freely if you choose. If there is a specific place you prefer, please let me know and it can be accommodated.
