Samira is a great sitter! George had a great time with her and I will definitely be boarding again.

Samira it’s actually a really nice girl that accepted baby Tokyo last minute and for that we are appreciative. However, Even though Tokyo is very well trained for a puppy his age, he is indeed a puppy that she agreed to take care of. She advertises herself as someone that only receives one customer at a time, which is not true (she told us about that in the meet and greet, but it definitely caught us by surprise still). The space is not very pet friendly (which is ok, I also live in an a small apartment) but I don’t believe she took baby Tokyo out a lot, considering that he is only 11 weeks old that’s a little bit concerning. He has a play pen and I emphasized that he will be able let her know that he needs to go outside to go potty when he’s at the play pen. However I told her that every time she’s gonna let him out the play pen she REALLY needs to take him out potty first, then he will mostly play safely inside with no potty accidents. I can only assume she didn’t did that, since Tokyo has not had an accident like that in three and a halve weeks inside the house since we’ve been following that protocol. She then complaint about his accident first thing when I picked him up (early must I say, since I was worried). She posted about her dog being “mean” to Tokyo (growling at him) on her social media while Tokyo was on the play pen. He wanted to play so he was obviously barking and she texted to complaint about how he was “barking excessively” during the first hour. Keep in mind that Tokyo is not a barker usually, and that he stays on his playpen very calmly. However, expecting a puppy to be still and silent on a play pen with other dog around when the puppy wants to play is not only unrealistic but slightly cruel. I believe Samira has good intentions but it was a very concerning, overwhelming and draining experience over all. Maybe her set up and mindset is better for an older dog that is not very active?
