*I have 1 dog and am fully vaxxed.* I grew up in a house full of dogs and we’ve had dogs and small animals in the house most of my life. When I first moved to New York I walked dogs on the Upper East Side. I had a lot of clients that either didn’t like bikes or loud noises, but we had the best time because I am hyper vigilant and always have my head on a swivel. My best friend pickles and I moved back to New York a few years ago. He was actually a dog sitting client that the owners decided they no longer wanted. I rescued him that day and spent months working through his anxiety and separation issues, as well as crate / house training, and exercise. I get that dogs have issues just like people and they require empathy and understanding. Your best friend may not love you needing to run errands or be at the office - but I’ll hang out with them, walk with them, and pass the time until you’re reunited.
