Hello! I'm Sami. Since I was born, I've been lucky to love all types of dogs, from cocker spaniels to labradoodles to boxers to Pitbulls. I've relocated to Madison, WI for my Master's program in Social Work and sadly had to leave my family's dogs, Luna, Gemma, and Yadi. I'm hoping to use my skills as a pet owner, dog sitter, animal shelter volunteer, and generally caring human to love for your dogs the way I would my own! I grew up with dogs and have both petsit and walked dogs of all shapes and sizes. I'm comfortable playing with large and small dogs, from timid to hyper personalities. I'm comfortable setting boundaries and following pet owner instructions, especially with dogs that need more attention and care (i.e. diet, nighttime rituals, medication, etc.) I have multiple modes of transportation, so getting to your pooch will not be an issue. I miss being able to walk, play with, and just genuinely love my family dogs and I look forward to providing the care your furry family needs while you are away!

Sami was fantastic with the pups. She made sure to meet them first and took great care of them while we were gone. She communicated great and sent pics. We got stuck and couldn't make it back, so she stayed another night with them. Would highly recommend!

From our first meeting, we knew Sami was going to be an awesome dog sitter! She took amazing care of our dog Aaryn while we were away and reach out frequently with cute photos and activity updates! Highly recommended!
Sami did a great job watching my dog Java. She sent multiple photos during her stay and I returned to a happy little pug.

Please let me know of any medical issues, allergies, and personalities traits your dog may have. It's important that I know what medication regiment is needed and what type of food they usually eat and how much. Please tell me if your dog is dog-aggressive, as it will change the way I walk them and how I react when we encounter other dogs. I do not have breed preferences! I am comfortable with all kinds of dogs but my background is with medium to large dogs, specifically boxers and pitbull mixes.
A typical day
I love going on hikes and being outdoors, even in the cold! So if your dog needs a long stroll, I am your gal. We can go to the park or just in the backyard. It's really up to the owner! I am a sucker for fetch and will play for hours. If your dog is trying to learn new tricks, I'm more than happy to work with them on sitting, staying, and potty training. I will use the methods that worked with my own dogs.
