Pet care experience
Experience and education have taught me that all dogs have the potential to effectively communicate their emotional & physical needs, we just have to be willing to adapt to communicating from their level of understanding! By slowing down our approach we can form stronger bonds and build trust with our animal friends. I truly enjoy helping owners approach their relationship with their pets from a new perspective and you can rest assured that your furry friends will have all their needs considered while spending quality time with me! I have experience with a variety of special needs dogs including hearing impaired, vision impaired, medically dependent, and limited mobility/ partially paralyzed dogs even ones that need special potty assistance. I have studied with Animal Behavioral College and worked for multiple pet care companies as well as being an independent pet care assistant and a dog Foster volunteer.

Brittany takes such care of our girls. She always goes above and beyond what we ask her to do. She taught our girls to sit and lay while she took care of them for the week. Our girls love it when Brittany comes to take care of them. We never have to worry about them while they are in Brittany’s care. You can tell that she really loves animals. We highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies. You won’t regret it.

When your pet is here they are part of the family, the only area my husband and I keep seperate is the kitchen which is blocked off by a gate. Pets are allowed on the furniture, laps, and we also have an area that's safe for your pet to relax in private if they are feeling shy or anxious. *All dogs are taken outside on a leash for potty. All the doors in our home that lead to outdoor access do have additional gates blocking the area so there is no chance of slipping out unintentionally if a door is opened.

Please let me know about any... medications, disabilities, reactivities, food/environmental allergies Let me know how your dog reacts around other dogs especially if they have leash-reactivity for out on walks and potty breaks. ** Please note we currently have a Deaf female dog in our home, she is neutered.
A typical day
In addition to practicing skills and communication it's important to relax and have fun as well. Did you know that sniffing is important not only for mental stimulation but can also be a light form of exercise, especially for dogs with limited mobility? We like to make a game of sniffing exercise by hiding treats or utilizing toys that require skill to get rewarded with appropriate healthy treats! We do have a backyard line for ourdoor play when the weather is nice, dogs can enjoyed fetch with us or even just relax outside watching the birds while snuggling nearby. All outdoor time is directly supervised.
